Join Billie Rae Vinson, Director of School and Family Programs at Craft Contemporary, for a mock school tour including gallery activities and a crafting experience in our workshop. Participants will explore the ways that artists Carolyn Castaño and Linda Sibio use their art to speak out about social and environmental issues that are important to them. In the workshop, we’ll create appliqued protest banners, discuss teaching strategies, and share ideas about how to engage students with museum exhibitions and works on view.

The ticket price includes museum entry and light refreshments.

Check out Craft Contemporary’s Visit page for information on parking and accessibility. Head to the School Programs page to learn more about school visits at the museum
